About Argenta-Oreana Youth League
What We Do
The Argenta-Oreana Youth League is a volunteer-run, non-profit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to providing athletic and recreational programs for all school-age children within the Argenta-Oreana School District, the Village of Oreana, and the Village of Argenta. Our mission is to foster a love for sports, teamwork, and personal growth in a positive and supportive environment.
We offer opportunities for young athletes to participate in baseball, softball, volleyball, and basketball, guided by the rules and standards of the Central Illinois Youth Conference (CIYC). Established in 2023, CIYC includes teams from Maroa Forsyth, Sangamon Valley, Warrensburg, Meridian, Argenta Oreana, Cerro Gordo, Central A&M, Clinton (for select sports), and Mount Pulaski (for select sports).
Our dedicated board members and volunteers are passionate about encouraging sportsmanship, building confidence, and inspiring the next generation both on and off the field. Thanks to community donations and sponsorships—all of which are tax-deductible—we are able to provide affordable opportunities for our young athletes.
